Ambitious undertaking

After Ek Tha Tiger, Kabir Khan is thinking about his next film, another mega budget film, for which he has already short-listed his male leads. And either Aamir Khan, Salman Khan or Ranbir Kapoor could be roped into the project.

Interestingly, the script for this project was the first one Kabir ever penned. So what prevented him from working on it?
“It was my first ever idea and a mega budget film and I didn’t have the guts or the backing required to make it,” Kabir wryly admits. Who will produce the film still hasn’t been resolved. “I don’t know whether Yash Raj Films or any other producer will back it, but this film is the most ambitious one of my career,” Kabir said.
It is also rumoured that Kabir has been signed on by Ekta Kapoor and Sajid Nadiadwala for their upcoming films — a development the director refutes. “I’m neck deep in work. I haven’t signed anything,” he clarifies.
