Akki won’t play Dara

B’town is no stranger to rumours and this one seems to be just another one on the list. It was recently reported that Dara Singh’s son Vindoo has decided to cast Akshay Kumar to portray the legendary actor in a biopic inspired by his life. But if sources are to be believed, there is no truth to this whatsoever.
“Firstly, Akshay is busy with five films at the moment. His kitty is full to take on any new film. He has Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobaara, Boss, Thuppakki remake, Entertainment and Gabbar that are taking up all of his time. Besides, a Dara Singh biopic is not even in the pipeline. We have no idea what triggered off these rumours,” says a source close to the actor.
Well this may be a rumour, but we can imagine Akshay fitting the bill. Maybe if a film is indeed made, (given that it is the season of biopics) Akki will be a contender?
