Akki-John to raise the bar
Brace yourself ladies. The Desi Boyz of Bollywood are all set to add that extra zing to the ladies’ night by donning the hat of a bartender, to promote their film. And to get their act right, both Akshay Kumar and John Abraham are getting trained by bartenders from the UK through video conferencing. Their spokesperson says, “Both John and Akshay wanted to do something unique to promote their film. That’s how they came up with the bartending idea.”
It may be mentioned that Desi Boyz will be the acid test for both the actors as neither of them have seen a hit for quite some time. “When you have great lookers such as John and Akshay playing bartenders, one can safely say that the ladies won’t leave the bar, come what may,” says the official spokesperson of the film. But will the sizzling duo manage the same number of footfalls on a Friday evening at the theatres? We’ll have to wait for some time to know the answer to that. Until then let’s just say “cheers!”
