Akki bonds with family

When the rest of Bollywood heads to exotic locales to party, Akshay prefers the solace of the pristine beaches of Goa. To bring in wife Twinkle’s birthday on December 29, the star threw a huge bash in his Goa villa. It was double celebrations for the family as yesteryear actor Rajesh Khanna, who shares his birthday with daughter Twinkle, also joined in the revelry. Our source says, “The party was also attended by Rajesh’s ex-wife Dimple Kapadia, daughter Rinkie Khanna and son-in-law Samir Saran.”
Rajesh Khanna, who has been trying to reunite with his family for a long time now after his prolonged illness, was given a warm welcome. The source continues, “Akshay has a great deal of respect for his father-in-law. He stood by him throughout his illness. Now that Rajesh is back in action, it certainly called for celebrations.” According to eyewitnesses, Akshay, who is known to be a teetotaler, played bartender at the bash. “It was a complete family affair with a few very close friends and Akshay was spotted having a great time with his father-in-law."
Seems Akshay is quite the khiladi on the family front too.
