Akki’s fans follow him underground

Akshay Kumar loves living on the edge, even if it means getting mobbed by fans. Every now and then, the actor uses a two-wheeler to beat traffic and fulfil personal commitments on time. The only difference was that this time he was in London and instead of a two-wheeler he commuted by train.

While shooting for Anees Bazmee’s Thank You in London recently, he decided that a train would help save time getting back and forth from work to his hotel. A source said, “Akshay travelled alone on London’s underground trains, trying to get to reach his shooting locale quicker since it was too far to cycle.”
The actor enjoyed his ride too. “It turned out to be quite an adventure. It’s been a long time since I caught a train to work and I totally loved it. It was an insane idea. One group of excited fans followed me from my first train, and it ended up turning into a train-stalking marathon. I just kept jumping on and off the trains seeing if the fans would get bored, but they didn’t. Bless them,” said Akshay.
