Ajay-SRK peace out

They have been touted as the biggest rivals in Bollywood. From the time they made their respective debuts in Hindi films to their latest releases, Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan have always been at loggerheads.

Now with SRK’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Ajay’s Son Of Sardar clashing at the box office on November 13, one would only expect things to heat up further, but that’s not the case. SRK recently told the media that he had no problems with the dates clashing. And when it was Ajay’s turn to react he said, “There have been media reports that I was under pressure to postpone the release of my film. It’s totally incorrect. It was extremely sweet of Shah Rukh to set the record straight by saying that there was no rivalry. He said that even Yashji would’ve been happy to see two big films release together.”
While on the topic of Yashji, we couldn’t not ask him why he wasn’t there at the legend’s funeral. His spokesperson said, “He had a prior commitment to honour. But his father Veeru and wife Kajol were present to make up for his absence.” Point taken.
