Is Ajay miffed with Prakash?

While his counterparts go all out giving interviews to promote their films, Rohit Shetty has always let his work do the talking. From the Golmaal series to Bol Bachchan and now Chennai Express, Rohit has proved his ability to deliver sure-shot hits. But the recent success of Chennai Express doesn’t seem to have gone down well with his rivals perhaps. While Ram Gopal Varma has slammed the film on social networking websites, Prakash Jha took potshots at Shetty’s style of filmmaking.
Recently, in an interview, Prakash made a jest about Chennai Express — in his Satyagraha star Ajay Devgn’s presence. Now Ajay is known to be a good friend of Rohit so the situation wasn’t a very comfortable one. “He (Prakash) made the statement in Ajay’s presence. He also said that he doesn’t have the talent to make films like Bol Bachchan,” a source shared.
Not surprisingly, Prakash’s comments didn’t go down too well with Ajay (who, incidentally, starred in Bol Bachchan). “Ajay didn’t find it funny at all. His face said it all. Prakash’s comments were uncalled for and Ajay’s angst was evident,” our source told us.
Previously, Ajay and Prakash had creative differences but patched up and decided to work together on Satyagraha.
