Age no bar for Nana’s new love story

Bollywood just can’t get rid of its Lolita fascination. Succumbing to the phenomenon yet again, is actor-director Nana Patekar. Nana had helmed Prahaar, featuring the lovely Madhuri Dixit and Dimple Kapadia back in the early 90s, but now wants to return to the coveted spot behind the camera with a love story that has age as it’s cornerstone.
“It will be a simple love story,” says Nana. “You won’t see the lead pair hugging and kissing every two minutes. The girl will be shown to be in her early 20s while the man will be in his 50s. He will be shown to be a very rude sort of person.”
Of course, Nana has himself in mind for the lead role. “Who else can I get who will look as surly as me?” he laughs.
