Take action against sree loyalists: BJP MLCs

Two BJP legislators have urged the party to initiate action against supporters of former minister B. Sreeramulu, especially Kampli MLA T.H. Suresh Babu who had remarked on Thursday that he did not care about the notices issued to him by party state president K.S. Eshwarappa.

BJP MLCs Manohar Maski and Ashwathnarayana said loyalists of Sreeramulu, who owe their positions to the party, have no moral right to criticise the party president.

“If they feel like backing Sreeramulu, they should quit the BJP and join his movement,’’ the legislators said.

The MLCs wanted Sreeramulu’s supporters—two MPs and a MLA—who have been issued show-cause notices, to be dismissed from the party for repeatedly indulging in anti-party activity.
