Sex tape is fake: Nithyananda

Godman Nithyananda, caught in an alleged sex tape case, said on Wednesday that he has evidence to prove that charges levelled against him were false.

Addressing the media at his Ashram in Bidadi, Nithyananda said he was one among 100 most influential persons in the world. Referring to the chargesheet filed against by the CID, the self-styled godman said the content of the chargesheet was leaked much before it reached the court in Ramanagara.

He said the sex CD, which allegedly showed him with a Tamil actress, has been proved fake. “Those who made allegations against me are criminals. The master mind behind it (Lenin) is in jail now in Chennai. I will appeal before the court to hand over the case to the CBI,’’ he said.
