At last, full Cabinet for CM?
Chief Minister Sadananda Gowda may soon get the nod for the much awaited Cabinet expansion with his rival, B.S. Yeddyurappa entangled in a series of legal hurdles. The central leadership had earlier decided to put the Cabinet expansion on hold till BSY’s fate is decided by the Supreme Court. With the legal process getting delayed, the expansion is likely to happen but only after taking Yeddyurappa into confidence, sources said.
The BJP core committee is scheduled to meet in a day or two to discuss the expansion. Party in-charge for Karnataka Dharmendra Pradhan is likely to arrive in Bengaluru on Wednesday to oversee the Committee meeting. Sources in the BJP told DC that the date for the core committee would be fixed only after Pradhan arrives in the city. “If BSY agrees to the expansion and reshuffle of portfolios, it might happen early next month”, the sources said.
