KIADB case: Two accused nabbed

The two absconding prime accused in the KIADB scam involving former minister Katta Subramanya Naidu and his son Katta Jagdish — Venkaiah and Jaggaiah — have been finally arrested by the Lokayukta police. The arrest comes as a shot in the arm for Lokayukta police, as the duo had remained absconding ever since the case was registered. A Lokayukta special team, headed by DySP S. Girish traced the two to Tirupati, where they were arrested and later brought to Bengaluru. On Saturday evening, they were produced before the Lokayukta court, which remanded them to Lokayukta police custody for interrogation.
