I’m thick-skinned, criticism does not bother me: BSY
Bengaluru, May 3: Mr B.S. Yeddyurappa is clearly showing signs of getting desperate and restless over losing the CM gaddi. Participating in a function organised to dedicate a renovated temple at Kelangeri village in Arasikere taluk of Hassan district on Thursday, the former CM said, “I am a thick-skinned person, I am not bothered about criticism or people attacking me. I will not give up so easily and will teach a lesson to those who betrayed me.”
Later, in an introspective mood, the ex-CM said: “I am in a confused state of mind. If I comment on the state government and its performance, people will misinterpret me.” He reiterated that he had tried to contribute a lot to the state when he was CM, but many were jealous of him and tried to scuttle his chances. “People try to cut the tree which gives fruits. This is very unfortunate,” he said. Explaining why he was on a temple-hopping spree, Mr Yeddyurappa said that he was visiting shrines with an intention to ‘move to light from darkness.’
