Detoxification cure for Anna
To recharge and rejuvenate himself prior to beginning his nationwide tour once again before launching a political party, social activist 75-year-old Anna Hazare landed at the city-based Jindal Naturecare Institute on Monday. Anna arrived at Jindal Institute around 3.30 pm on Monday accompanied by a few of his supporters. Institute sources said he will stay at the facility for eight to ten days.
Dr Rehman A.U., Director, Jindal Naturecare, told Deccan Chronicle: “A team of five to six doctors, comprising a naturopath, physiotherapist, dietician and a yoga expert, will attend on Hazare. He has no major health issues. All his treatment is directed towards detoxification and rejuvenating his health.”
Hazare has been put up at a four-bed normal accommodation. His diet will mainly consist of fruits, vegetables, sprouts, steamed soups and juices as prescribed by experts. This is Hazare’s second visit to the Institute. In February this year, he was treated for hypertension and other related ailments. Reacting to his core group member Arvind Kejriwal’s protest on Sunday, Hazare said it was a peaceful andolan and Team Anna did not raise its hand against the police. “There was no loss of national property. We will continue until we achieve full swarajya,” he declared at the institute.
