Blast probe: Fasih will be brought to city
The April 2010 Chinnaswamy stadium blast accused Fasih Mohammed will soon be brought to the city for interrogation.
The city police have obtained the body warrant for Fasih from a local court to bring him from New Delhi, where he is currently being interrogated for his alleged involvement in the September 2010 Jamia Masjid blast. “We have obtained the body warrant for Fasih and will bring him to the city after the Delhi police complete their interrogation,” said an official source.
Fasih (28), a mechanical engineer from the Anjuman Engineering College, Bhatkal, is a resident of village Barh Samaila in Darbhanga district of Bihar.
He was deported on October 21 from Saudi Arabia after a Red Corner Notice was issued against him by the Interpol for his involvement in alleged terror activities and was arrested soon after he landed at the Indira Gandhi International airport in New Delhi.
He was earlier reportedly ‘arrested’ in a joint operation by the Indian and Saudi authorities on May 13 from his house in Jubail, Dammam in Saudi Arabia.
