BJP MLA vents ire on CM
The differences in the ruling BJP may have been been pushed under the carpet for now but legislators loyal to former chief minister B. S. Yeddyurappa are still fighting for their due and do not mind creating a scene if the situations warrants it. On Tuesday, Tumkur BJP MLA and known Yeddyurappa loyalist Suresh Gowda reportedly lost his cool while arguing with Chief Minister Sadananda Gowda over the transfer of an official in his constituency. Sources said the MLA got angry after the CM rejected his request and told him, “I will see how long you continue in this seat. It is only a matter of time before you have to vacate the seat.”
Continuing his tirade, Mr Gowda accused the chief minister of betraying Mr Yeddyurappa. Mr Sadananda Gowda however maintained his cool and told him that being a public representative, this was no way to speak to a chief minister. Soon after this, the CM left his chamber to attend the session.
