Another day, another double murder
A 30-year-old man and his friend were found murdered at Brahmadevara Gudda on Kaadumalleshwara Road, just 100 meters away from NICE road junction, on Thursday afternoon. Police identified one of the deceased as Nagabushan, a resident of Bilekahalli and the other as Manjunath alias Koli Manja of Moodalapalya, whose body was found about 100 mts away. According to police, Nagabushan was released from jail on Monday, after he was arrested four years back by Kamakshipalya police for allegedly murdering his lover, at the same spot where he was found murdered on Thursday. Police suspect that the assailants had murdered him late on Wednesday night.
The incident came to light on Thursday afternoon after a few passersby noticed the bodies and informed the police. The assailants had used deadly weapons and hit the victims on their heads and multiple injuries were found on their bodies, police said. Ramanagaram SP Anoopam Agarwal told Deccan Chronicle: “We are yet to ascertain the motive behind the murder, but we are not ruling out the possibility of rivalry. We have collected all vital evidence from the crime scene and are investigating. ”
